Main Article Content
Abstract
Antebrachi fracture is a break in the continuity of the radius and ulna bones. Fracture is a type of damage or abnormality that often occurs in the bone. The use of the term fracture also means the continuity of the broken bone and is determined according to the type and extent. This study aims to determine the appropriate radiographic procedure for radiographic examination of the antebrachial bones with a suspected fracture of the distal 1/3 of the radius in patients who are difficult to move. The type of research used was qualitative with a case study approach. Retrieval of data using the method of observation and documentation. To get an optimal radiographic picture of a suspected fracture of the distal 1/3 of the radius in a patient who is difficult to move at Murni Teguh Memorial Hospital Medan, postero-anterior and lateral projections were performed. The results of the study showed a fracture of the distal 1/3 of the left radius os with the position of the fragment shifted dorsally and medial to postero-laterally. Processing film used for examination of the antebrachial bones with suspected fracture of 1/3 distal os radius in patients who are difficult to move using computed radiography (CR).
