Abstract
Osteosarcoma is skeletal system malignancy, nonhematopoietic the most commonwhich is about 20 % of primary malignant bone tumors. Osteosarcoma is defined as a neoplasm in whichtissue is osteoid synthesized by malignant cells. Osteosarcoma more often attacks the age group 15-25 years (at the age of growth). This study aims to determine the appropriate radiographic procedure for radiographic examination of the ossa cruris with suspected osteosarcoma. This research on radiography Ossa Cruris with the suspicion of Osteosarcoma uses descriptive qualitative research, namely fact finding with the right interpretation. The results showed that to obtain an optimal radiographic image of suspected osteosarcoma at the Haji Adam Malik General Hospital Medan, an projection was performed antero-posterior and lateral. From the results obtained radiological features on radiographic examination Ossa cruris on suspicion of osteosarcoma in the General Hospital Haji Adam Malik is suggestive malignant epimetafisis accompanied by soft tissuemass os tibia and metaphysical os fibula and porotik disuse. Processing film for radiographic examination of ossa cruris with suspected osteosarcoma using computed radiography (CR).
