Abstract

Hip joint radiography is an examination of the joint that has the largest role in the body, namely the hip joint. The hip joint is a bone joint that lies between the hip and the base of the upper femur. The hip joint in humans consists of 6 main parts, namely: proximal femur, femoral head, acetabulum, labrum acetabulum and os coxae. A hip joint dislocation is a traumatic displacement of the femoral head from the acetabulum. As many as 95% of patients with hip dislocation also have injuries to other areas of the body. Hip joint radiography was performed to determine the location of the hip joint dislocation and to identify other injuries. The study of hip joint radiography with suspected dislocation in this patient used a qualitative study. The data collection technique is based on the results of observations and documents. This research was conducted at the H. Adam Malik Central General Hospital Medan in March-July 2021. The projection used in the examination with suspected dislocations is the antero-posterior projection pelvis (basic projection) and both hips(basic projection). The results of the examination provide diagnostic information and abnormalities in the hip joint with suspected dislocations which are processed using Computed Radiography (CR).
