Abstract
Mandibular bone radiography is a radiographic examination of mandibular bone using X-rays with aim of carrying out the anatomy and abnormalities that occur in the mandible from several aspects Mandibular fracture is a condition where there is discontinuity of the mandibular bone caused by facial trauma or other pathological conditions. Mandibular fracture cases are basically common although the mandible’s resistance to impact forces is greater than that of other facial bones, this is due to the protrusion of the anatomical shape and exposed position of the mandible from other facial bones. In this paper, the examination projections used are Antero- Posterior (AP) and Lateral with film processing using Digital Radiography (DR). This research was conducted at Royal Prima Hospital Medan with this type research using descriptive qualitative research. Data collection will be carried out by interviewing, documenting, and taking direct photos in the field. The conclusion from the radiographic examination of the mandibular Os is that fractures in the body of the mandible are shown using the Antero- Posterior and Lateral projections.
