Radiografi Vertebrae Cervicalis dengan Sangkaan Corpus Alienum di RSUP Hj Adam Malik Medan

Abstract
Cervical radiographic examination aims to obtain an overall picture of the cervical vertebral column that has abnormalities such as fractures, trauma and the Corpus Alienum using AP and Lateral projections. Corpus Alienum is the entry of foreign objects originating from outside the body, intentionally or unintentionally, which can cause disruption of organ function and cause pain in the part of the body that contains the foreign object. Swallowing and snagging of foreign objects is a major problem for children aged 6 months to 6 years, and can occur at any age. The type of research used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data retrieval using the method of literature review, and observation. The results showed that to obtain an optimal radiographic image of the cervical vertebrae with a suspected corpus alienum at the Haji Adam Malik General Hospital Medan, an antero-posterior and lateral projection was performed. The results of the examination provide diagnostic information and abnormalities in the cervical vertebrae. Examination of the cervical vertebrae using a General Radiography X-ray machine, the author uses the Computed Radiography (CR) processing film washing process.
