Abstract
Thorax is a chest X-Ray, or film used to diagnose conditions such as the heart, lungs, respiratory tract, blood vessels, and lymph nodes. A chest X-ray can also show the spine and chest, including the ribs, collarbone, and the top of the spine. Pleural effusion is the accumulation of excess fluid in the pleural cavity. This can be caused by an increase in pleural fluid build-up or a decrease in the removal of pleural fluid by the parietal pleural lymphatics. The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the thorax examination with a suspected pleural effusion. The data used in this research is descriptive qualitative data. Where this descriptive data can be a description of the results that become direct observations of the results of the examination that have been determined. The results in the completion of this research provide information on right pleural effusion dd (Differential Diagnosis) the presence of a mass of fluid in the lung. Conclusions from the radiographs of the thorax on suspicion of pleural effusion is pleural effusion and their right lung mass that has yet to be rid of.
