Radiografi Wrist Joint dengan Sangkaan Dislokasi di Rumah Sakit Royal Prima Medan

Abstract

Wrist joint radiography is an examination of the joint that has the largest role in the body, namely, the wrist joint.Wrist joint is a complex joint consisting of a collection of several bones and joints. A dislocation is a condition in which the bones that make up a joint are no longer connected anatomically. This case can occur in all age groups and the incidence increases along with the number of activities and the number of accidents both traffic accidents and accidents while exercising. This study aims to determine the implementation of the radiographic examination of the wrist joint. The projections used are anteroposterior and lateral. This research technique is a qualitative research. Qualitative research techniques are research on descriptive resea rch and tend to use analysis and subject perspectives that are more highlighted. Wrist joint radiography is performed to determine the location of the wrist jointdislocation and to identify other injuries. This research was conducted at the Royal Prima Hospital, Medan. The results of the examination provide diagnostic information and abnormalities in the wrist joint with suspected dislocations which are processed using Digital Radiography (DR).
