Analisis Faktor Pengulangan Foto Dental di Instalasi Radiologi Rumah Sakit Rajawali Citra Bantul

Abstract
The goal of any radiology diagnotic is to produce the highest quality of diagnostic radiographs, while keeping patient exposure as low as reasonably achievable (ALARA). In order to acquire it, every hospital should stick to Quality Assurance (QA) dan Quality Control (QC) such as Repetition Analysis Programme of dental radiographs. The Aim of this study was to describe the reasons of dental radiograph repetition in Rajawali Citra Bantul Hospital on April-June 2021. This study was conducted by descriptive quantitative methods with an observation and documentation approach. The result showed that the repeat rate was 14,4 % of all dental examination. Among the causes of errors calculated, positioning error (50%) was the most common, followed by device movement (39%), object movement (6%) and others cause (5%). The study pointed that repeat rate of dental radiographs exceeds the set limit and the common cause of them was positioning error.
