Abstract

Elbow joint radiography is an examination technique carried out in the diagnostic field using X-rays to show an image of the elbow joint on an X-ray film so that abnormalities can be seen and assessed in detail. Elbow dislocation is a loose joint at the elbow which is often caused by an injury due to indirect trauma or direct trauma to the elbow. The type of research used is a case study approach. Collecting data using observation and documentation methods. The results showed that in order to obtain an optimal radiographic picture of suspected dislocations in RSUD. DR Pirngadi Medan performed with antero-posterior and lateral projections. So the radiological conclusions obtained on examination of the elbow joint with a suspected dislocation in the RSUD. DR Pirngadi Medan is suggestive of olecranon dislocation of the ulna to the supero-anterior os. Processing used to examine the elbow joint with suspected dislocation using digital radiography (DR).
