Abstract
This study aims to determine the examination of the tractus urinaria using the BNO-IVP method with suspected hydronephrosis. BNO-IVP examination using X-rays can clearly identify the location of hydronephrosis. BNO-IVP radiographic examination with suspected hydronephrosis also aims to obtain an optimal picture of the antero-posterior (AP) projection with a five-minute phase to see the contrast media filled in the pelvicalycal system, the fifteen minute phase to see the contrast media filled in the ureter, phase three twenty minutes on vesica urinaria and post Miksi. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The population of this study were hospital patients by selecting an accidental sample at the Royal Prima Medan General Hospital using the General X-Ray Unit aircraft instrument. From the results of the study, it was concluded that the BNO-IVP radiographic examination with hydronephrosis suspicion resulted in a suspected abdominal / renal mass. The secretory and excretory functions of both kidneys are poor and there are signs of hydronephrosis. To detect pathological abnormalities in the BNO-IVP examination, antero-posterior projection can be performed.
